Conference Theme Today, we are observing some of the most rapid and dynamic changes our world economy has ever experienced. Commerce as a function of society continues to follow the trends of both globalization and diversification. The art of business communication, much like Zen, is best practiced when simple, clear and focused. As Zen is about being present in the moment and free of distracting thoughts, so also is effective business communication. This Zen-like philosophy of simplicity and efficiency has been successfully adapted to the business practices of many modern organizations.
